Picked up a Governor Saturdat at a guv show. Really neat handgun. It won't replace my S&W E series 1911, but it's nice. I did manage to get about 20 mixed rounds. I like it.

Question, what .410 cartridges are y'all carrying?

Here is my Governor, bought new last June, with it's range of ammo.

I've shot the three .410s shown, as well as .45 Colt & Schofield and mostly .45 ACP ball ammo. I keep it stoked with the 250gr Gold Dots in .45 Colt - and/or .45 ACP. In all honesty, I bought it as a bedside .45 ACP protector, which it mostly is here. It is functionally equivalent to a 325 Night Guard - and over $300 cheaper. To me, it also shoots .410s... the .500 Magnum grips help with the Win PDX1 recoil, too.

I like the idea with these, but how is the accuracy between the different rounds?

I got it on a whim. I'm retired LEO and carry the 1911 still. I also teach numerous weapons classes but view this weapon only as an inside the house gun. I too wanted the high zoot .45acp revolver but this does the same and more for less $$. But I must admit the moon clips are a PIA, but cool. I'll likely keep PDX in it.

The .45 ACP 230gr ball ammo and 250gr GDJHPs in .45 Colt group tightly at POA from 7-12 yd, while the PDX1 are 'everywhere' on the paper - roughly centered an inch low at 7yd. The most BB holes I've found was 11 - usually less. I assume the 'others' make it through one of the larger 'slugettes' holes. There are four of them, too - the lowest ragged one likely being the plastic wad.
