And sometimes they get stopped up by law-enforcement.
Bears just like people, have the right to remain silent.
But bears just like people don't have the ability.

The word must be getting around on bear forums that Philly and it's environs is bear friendly.




Bad information. A second bear got put down this week not too far from the first. He is the photo above.

This guy was put down in the middle of the State. Such a good picture, I could not resist it.

Here, a "nuisance" bear is tagged and relocated. If they become a problem a second time or return, then they usually put them down. Putting them down is generally not the first option unless circumstances warrant it. Sounds like Philly may be "shoot a bear" crazy.
