Grab the bear gun! MORE MOVING IN #62

Now that is what you call up close & personal! I'm amazed that the hunter didn't shoot the bear while it was making its way up the tree. Great restraint, or was he frozen solid?

So, if I understand you correctly, brucev has The Right to Bear Arms, but he does NOT have The Right Bear Arms? :D

preemptive- Groannnnnnn........

I'm not sure anyone HAD to do it, but you'll get away with it because you are the site owner. Anyone else would have earned some serious percussive maintenance with the ban hammer.:D

That bear would have had a good look at the muzzle end of my 625 Mountain Gun if I had been up in that tree stand.

Bears just want to have fun! This hunter sure got a face full!

That bahr got up that tree pretty quick!

I swear when it got up there the look on it's face was "OH! Sorry! Thought you were somebody else."

What was the hunter saying? I think it's something about making his bed? I think he has holey sheets or something?" :D

Honey, would you please tell your boyfriend not to come to the door.
The neighbors are starting to talk.

Update: Our young urban bear somehow got a broken leg and was clearly suffering. He therefor was put down this weekend. He may have been hit by a car or truck.

Earlier in the week he was photographed having an evening snack in a back yard.

No bear here around Baltimore yet, but they have made their way out of Western MD down into DC. Of course, before 10 or so years ago, bear were only a rumor in extreme Western MD, so that means they're spreading pretty fast. Lots more coyote sightings in these parts, though. Who'd ever have thought of coyote on the shores of the Chesapeake?

I live in Bucks County about an hour from Philly. I really don't understand
how anyone can worry about bears when every night after dark Philly
becomes a free fire zone. Every morning the T.V. news people count the
bodies.

....but bears are usually safe!

And it is only some neighborhoods that are really dangerous. The closer to Bucks County you are the safer you will be. This is true.

You will not find me hanging out Broad St & Germantown Ave early Saturday morning. Not since I retired at least.

We have black bears in MS now, illegal to kill a bear or an alligator. Why bring something back that was killed off for a reason.
