I ordered one for the same price from Palmetto State last week. I wonder why the sudden price drop? I hope it's not a sign that the rifle will be discontinued. I had a hard enough time buying into such a proprietary rifle in the first place.

Me too. I've been drooling over one of these since the last black gun scare. Ironically, I just pulled the trigger on a DE 44/50 yesterday and finally bought an M&P 22 Compact today so I really don't need to spend the money right now.

Don't know. HARD to walk away from this one. May have to suck it up.

It's not a sign of anything other than maybe a little over stock. About a month ago Palmetto and GranbAGun had a similar sale on Colt 6920, and those aren't going anywhere

I'll outfit mine with a Magpul STR stock and SWFA SS 3-9x42 scope. I am awaiting a Mapul MIAD 1.1 grip.

I'm leaning toward the UTG Pro MTU020SSC 13" free float. I wish it had a QD sling mount...

I too got the Grab a Gun email about the M&P10. Was about to order it when I decided to call Palmetto State Armory Store (there is one about 45 mins from my house) and they had some in stock for same price.

So now I'm the proud owner of a M&P10

So far very happy with it, even though I haven't been able to take it to the range and sight it in. Currently it has an Aimpoint PRO that I robbed off my M&P15.

Mine will be delivered mid-week. I plan to replace stock parts with a Mako GL Shock stock, BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 grip, and possibly a Magpul MOE handguard. I haven't decided on the optics yet.

My LE dealer (who gives ridiculously low discounts to officers) could only find them for $1299, and he looked at ALL his distributors. I was putzing around online and came across the Grab A Gun deal. Lets just say it took be about 15 minutes to complete my order. Heck of a savings. These rifles are going for as much as $1800 private sale in my neck of the woods. Saved enought to put a good SWFA scope and mount on it AND buy a few extra pmags. Life is good!

If you missed the grab a gun deal I know Palmetto State Armory had the same deal but no free shipping offer. Not sure if they still are offering the $999 price or not.
