I posted earlier this year regarding a project I was starting for my graduation from nursing school. Well, the project is underway. I walk on Friday, May 8,2009 as a Graduate Nurse. The last semester has been rough, and consequently I have not posted much, although I have been reading. I just wanted to share this with my friends here on the Forum.

Congrats!

My wife has been a RN for 27 years. It can be a tough job sometimes but very rewarding.

Congratulations Big Rich.....

The world needs nurses, whether or not hospitals think so.

How big are you, Rich? If you stick a needle in me, I faint. When I only weighed 125 pounds (when I had my blood test for marriage) it was no problem. But, after 38 years being married to a German-Norwegian lady from Wisconsin, today there's two of me.

Thank you, thank you all. Nicky, I could probably be split imto 2 people. I.m definitely no little fella.LOL.

Congratulations, Big Rich. You have entered a fine and honorable profession.

Be safe.

Nursing is a noble profession and nurses provide a most valuable service. When one is in the hospital, nursing care can make the difference between life and death. Congratulations on earning your degree and the best of luck to you.

Congratulations. You picked a good field - you can go to work anywhere you desire. While other fields are laying off we are still offering sign on bonuses for Nurses.

Congratulations. I have been a nurse for 12 years and have worked a variety of jobs from nursing homes to prisons to my present job in an er. Never a dull moment and just think you'll be able to figure out what kind of illness a person has by the smell
