Well after a few weeks of learning range etiquet and how the 15-22 works at the house, we headed to the range for her first time actually shooting. As it was her first time shooting the 15-22, I put a BSA Red Dot on and limited her to single shot till she got the hang of it.

We set up at 25 yds and I sighted the red dot in first. She used a bag on the front with no support in the back. After about 50 rounds she (and I) thought she was ready for the mag (with me REAL close).

Here is what we ended the day (250 rounds) with...
10" target with dime size center

Great job G'pa.. Looks like you have a real shooter on your hands! This little girl ROCKS!

Kicking myself in the *** for not taking pics...next time!

Memories like that will always stay with you.

Thank you for introducing your daughter to the shooting sports!

looks like someone has done his job well.

kudos to you for bringing a smile to my face and a tear to my eye!

I love it! Good for you, Paw Paw.

I started my boys with a single shot Cricket .22 at 3 years old. At 16, 7, and 7, they are safer with firearms than half the guys I was on the job with.

Blessings to you and those girls of yours.

A.
