Just ordered another set of Pat's grips. They shipped out Thursday of this week. Had to order my own 28th anniversary present to make sure ti was right....LOL

A beautiful Model 58 recently came to me. Mr. Grashorn's grips are just the perfect compliment for it. They look and feel fantastic and are just what I was after. The man is a gentleman as well and very nice to deal with. That last pic shows the bottom compared to the combats on a Model 57-1. Sorry about the weak photo skills but had to show them off. Thanks again Patrick.
I like that floral holster in the pic. Who makes that?

I do like the style of the stags, with bark....and I can see how they would help with "gripability" as opposed to smooth ones. But, I just can't get past the COLOUR ! The whitish colour of them just puts me off.....it just looks wrong to me...

If they were the same brownish colour as the "bark" areas throughout....that would be different. I suppose that they could be dyed or painted...

Oh well, to each his own.

An unbelievable post. This one was best kept "secret". This is a thread showcasing some beautiful guns with Patrick's fantastic work. To think there is a negative remark about either is stunning!!!

I like the "full bark" with the nickel and the "no bark" with the blue. I say the man is a craftsman. I also think this combination makes for a comfortable grip that retains some style. What say you? How bout we show the man some love...show off your Grashorn stags if ya got'em! :D

my apologies for the snake...musta crawled up there when I was adjusting the camera.

Thanks for the prettiest thread on S&W forums, or any firearms forum, I put Nanook 450s old square butt stags on my 3.5 in 27-2 yesterday with the Tyler T, I took the Tyler T off because those stags are gorgeous and feel great. Thanks Nanook, he shipped them before he even saw my check, thats what makes all of you guys and girls, the greatest. Smith folks just have more class, yes I saw that snake, if you get tired of looking at that I "might" babysit that for ya. I'm photo impaired so, its would be unlikely to "invade" the forum again, LOL. Billy Magg

Patrick, what about my 3913, put that fertile mind to work, I'd sign up for those? We should give Patrick and his little lady credit for the craftsmanship on display, nah maybe just works of art, beautifull! Billy Magg

This is my 640 which has been a companion for about twenty years now. The grips are Grasshorns and are about two years old to me anyhow.
I will post the K/L round butt pics after they arrive. Also after I pick which K/L wears it.
Oh just FYI the pink thing on the back of the trigger is an eraser. I glued it there as a trigger stop many years ago and it is still working fine.
My mistakes are not rectified by an eraser. They are too big for that.
