If you have a chance, catch Sisu on Prime before it's taken down. Made in Finland, so there's no recognizable actors, but a lot of action. Lots of Tarantino influence with over the top gore and dark humor.
Unless killing nazis wholesale in intensely gruesome ways is woke, then noIs it free of woke cr@p?
Not so much an influence as similarities. I was afraid some would take offense to the Tarantino reference, but I just included it because their styles are the same. Lots of gratuitous spraying blood and body parts being thrown asunder.Tarantino influence isn't exactly a selling point for a film.
Tried watching his stuff; almost all of it is horrible and tasteless. He can ruin a potentially good story in short order and usually does. Not so much an influence as similarities. I especially liked the turn it took when he enlisted the ladies help and they turned the tide on their tormentors. Hell hath no fury…

Yes, it is.Tarantino influence isn't exactly a selling point for a film.
Not really. The reason so many poor quality films are made these days is because there are audiences that will watch virtually anything and call it good. Tarantino work is a good example. Sort of like eating fast food daily and calling it delicious.Yes, it is.
Actually 2 different actors. Sisu star Jorma Tommila and Polar stars Mads Mikkelsen. Both decent movies. If you liked Sisu, be sure to catch him in Polar, same guy, but different role and just as great.
