Had a range trip planned for today to run some drills with my 5" 2.0 M&P. Decided to take the 19-3 Texas Ranger along just to have some fun after the drills. Had a variety of .38spl 130gr fmj. This revolver is just pure fun, it has an amazing action, never been touched, is as accurate as I can hope for.

Since I got it as just the revolver it was going to be a shooter, not a collector. When I want to just have fun this is my go to.

I let one of the ROs try it, he was smiling the entire time too haha. Didn't take any pics of the target but as we like photos here's a quickie after I cleaned it, no finish wear just reflection. Have a safe and meaningful Memorial Day all.

I have always thought that was a good looking gun when you first posted it. Glad to hear you're shooting it! Seems too many people get a very nice looking gun and are leery of putting any rounds through it. Good that you are enjoying it!!

+1 on the TR being a great shooter! When I bought this one I knew it had been "gently used" and I was OK with that because I'm not a commemorative collector. I love the fit and and finish, and the feel of the smooth targets- they fit me perfectly. The box was a little beat up, so I did refinish it in what I thought was a more appropriate Texas Post Oak finish. Glad you had fun at the range with yours! Enjoy!
