I have an eclectic set of Hand Ejectors, J, K, L, and N frames collected over the past 50 years, plus a couple S&W pistols to round things out. Sure appreciate the wisdom found here.

Where bouts in Montana? I ride up there a couple times a year, mostly north of Missoula, White Fish, Kalispell, Columbia Falls area but I'm familiar with most of the state as well.

Welcome from CT ! This is a great forum with a lot of friendly knowledgeable people who readily share that knowledge. I, for one, envy you living in Montana. I should have listened to Frank Zappa and invested in dental floss!

Enough with the people's republic BS ok? If you live here it's just California. And if you live here it must be good enough.

Some people are perfectly happy to live in a regulated, So ialist/Marxist environment.
Unto each his own.

A BTW, welcome a board, Triple-Lock.

Welcome aboard from the land of Cheese Heads! I lived in Clinton, app. 15 miles east of Missoula in the late 1970's. There were quite a few expatriates in that area from the People's Republic of California back then. Hope they didn't screw up that beautiful country. Happy New Year!!

Welcome aboard from the People's Republic of California.

But… but.. man, CA is so beautiful.
Hwy 395 from Tahoe all the way down and turn left at past Bishop into Death Valley. Mono Lake??!?!!! (Where they filmed High Plains drifter) And Bodie!! (My theory, the town on which Lago was based) The whole Owens Valley, Bishop, Mammoth Lakes.. That is an Absolutely stunning area.. I Had One day to drive five hours to drive from Gilroy down to LAX to fly back to Tennessee The next day a couple of months ago… I Decided to drive from Gilroy Via monitor pass to Topaz Lake down 395 And took a 15 Hour drive instead. Took me a few hours to get to Sacramento area and then loved every second of it. I would do it again tomorrow.

I was in Montana earlier this year! Absolutely stunning state, And the only place I have ever stopped At a gas station to get gas, pick up a drink and some potato chips along with a box of 50 357 mag rounds. You wouldn't say that in any gas station in California.

Welcome from Roanoke Va. "Star City of the South". Love Montana. Come every couple of years to Ennis to fish the Madison for monster trout.

Headed your way next spring.
Finishing up a six year quest to visit every state. Six left to see, yours being one. All in the west/Midwest.
Welcome from the rocky coast of Maine!

Welcome from Oklahoma! I lived in Montana 20 years ago. Back then it was Smith & Wesson heaven.

And some of us live in California. I doubt a socialist/marxist 'environment' would allow its citizens to own multiple weapons long and short nor would it allow anyone to have a concealed weapons permit with multiple weapons even. There wouldn't be any public shooting ranges either. So, you must be thinking of somewhere else. I wouldn't want the MT shooter to get the wrong idea.

I spent a summer working a cattle ranch south of Bridger back in '68, i was a kid back then. Aunt and Uncle lived in Red Lodge, they found me the job. I'm a native New Mexican though. I understand the eclectic mix, sounds about like mine!
