Welcome to the forum from SW Ohio. Very glad that you decided to join us. My ancestors on my Mothers side came from the Netherlands before migrating to Michigan.

Welcome from New York? Where in the Netherlands are you located? When I was running a of division of TNT / KPMG, I was in Amserterdam at least once a month.

When I had an office at IKEA in Waterlou, I also spent a lot of time in Delft.

How difficult is it to own handguns in Holland?

Bob

And a......

And a Hound Dawg Howdy to you from South Carolina, USA!:)

There's lots of gun activity here. buying guns and ammo, but few ranges still open and I'm staying put.

I've had my 6" 686 since 2012 and it's gun that I won't getting rid of anytime soon if I have anything to do with it.

I live in the South West nearby Vlissingen 15 min walk from the Northsea

(hand) Guns is difficult in Holland 17 mil. people and about 50.000 gun owners here

You must be a member of a gun club ,shoot at least 18 times a year and shooting some sort of (club) competition
No criminal history
5 guns max,and everey year you must go to the police to renew your lience ,Guns must be in the safe at home ,and munition seperated from the guns

And some more regulations

Welcome from Florida. Wow, those laws are tough. I wonder if the criminals use guns or are most criminals using knives like England.
