It's been a tasty week.

It began with a much appreciated few days off work & a brand new bag of lump.

I hit Sam's early in the week and loaded up on rubs-spices....need more, though.

Sam's stuffed salmon smoked perfectly in minutes.

Had wasabi with it.....awesome flavor.

Used the chicken rub (above) on a medium sized turkey yesterday. Some of the best tasting bird I've ever had.....rivaled fried turkey flavor sans the mess and oil expense.

Wife made a mean turkey salad with leftovers today. Gonna be great on fresh tomato slices and sandwiches.



As good as the above were......the Akorn topped it with supreme ease.






These were the absolute best ribs I've ever grilled..........EVER.

They came in 3-packs from Sam's....less than $25 for the three.


The meats are worth the membership cost alone.


Sauced with my family's favorite sauce....or at least one of them.

I've been grilling every day too. My main 'fridge died last week , so I've been grilling and eating everything that thawed!
 
Sorry man, no self-repecting Texan would be caught dead with somethin' called Montreal Steak. We make are own rubs, and usually are own sauces. Them ribs sure did look goooood.
 
I have to get some cooking overtime done. Due to a packaging mishap at the farm, quite a bit of the meat could not be sold and was given to the help.

Had to plug the deepfreezer back in because it wouldn't all fit in the side-by-side. Still, I couldn't keep it all from starting to thaw.

So I am a grilling machine tonight. Burgers, steaks, rib. I got some cheddar ready so we can have some real cheese on those burgers too.
