Hello again,

I was wondering what the grip thicknesses are for factory J-frames? I've gotten some Altamont panel grips, but looking at pics from older models, the grips seem thicker. Is that the case?

I also got a m28-2 with panel grips, they also seem thicker. Is it just me or is this the case...?

Smh. I gotcha. I'll HOPEFULLY be able to find some factory panel stocks that will fit. Any suggestions or advice? They would be going on a m36-10, just purchased about 6-8 months ago before I knew any better. Like I said, panel grips. Trying to avoid target stocks.

Handicraft grips come from Thailand. Ships DHL to US, then USPS to you. First set I bought earlier this year arrived 2days past the delivery date. They fit good and are certainly serviceable. Second set I have on order now we're supposed to have been delivered June 1. Checking the tracking, they have not left Thailand. Probably the last I buy from Handicraft.

Edit: complained to DHL, finally saw some movement, still in Thailand though. New delivery date June 16.

Your choice, of course, but shipping from everywhere in the Orient has been slowed by the pandemic.

Last week I bought a set off of E-Bay. They arrived in three days, The fit was very good. I was pleased with the feel of the grip in my hand. The price was reasonable. They looked good on my model 649.
