Guess I'm a New Oldie

Last couple times I've been on here lately, after an extended hiatus, I see I'm listed as not ever posting. Guess something may have happened during the changeover some time back, as I seem to remember being a bit verbose at times. Anyway I'll give the rundown on myself. A mid-fifties postal worker who started acquiring firearms over 30 years ago, with two of my first handguns being a Mod. 59 9mm and an 8 3/8" Mod. 29. Owned many Smith's since then. Currently have a couple J's, a K, a 4516 and a Sigma. My favorites have been the Shorty .45, a 4040 and Scandium L-frame seven shot .357 snubbie whose number I now forget (maybe 386?). So I have pretty much had a Smith of some flavor in my collection. Though I don't shoot much these days I'll continue to check in and see what's going on these days. Y'all take care.
