Gun buying panic over?

I'm not sure about the firearm buying "panic" being over. It could be that now everyone who wanted one (or more) has them and is trying to get ammunition at this point. Firearms are hit and miss in my neck of the woods but ammo shelves are still bare. It all depends on location I guess...

Unless some reloading components become reasonably available, I don't intend to look at any gun for at least the next six months. The scalpers will continue their trade after supplies begin to filter in, and I don't want to be guilty of feeding their filthy habit.

jmr986, on Thursday I stopped in a local northwest chain store and bought two boxes of 9mm, the same brand as what you are showing, for $13.95 each. I don't quite know what they mean by training ammo, but for the price I bought the two box limit.

i'd be happy to buy at the "2 box limit." cruising the local big box store showed empty handgun ammo shelves. there seemed to be enough rifle ammo; i didn't look at shotgun stuff 'cause i have enough.
