Gun Laws that may help

The reason why Canadian gun laws work is they are enforced. Ours aren't.

For example, the Brady Bill, which initiated the "Instant Background Check" stopped nearly 1 million felons from obtaining firearms. Out of that 1 million, a grand total of 44 (yup, just two digits there) were prosecuted.

We also have a law that says it's illegal to buy a gun for someone else who is ineligible to own one. It's called a strawman purchase. The only person I ever heard of being prosecuted for violating this law was the guy in California who bought the weapons for the husband and wife terrorist duo that shot up the school.

We don't need any new laws, we need to enforce the ones we have.
