Mine also came with uncle mike's, I've put on some of the smooth banana grips they fit my hand better.

Thanks tekarra, it is a nice gun. I just Love it. I really Love all the J frames. Seems like you can't get enough.

I would like to purchase a 940. It has to be in Ca. as it is no longer on the CA. list. Anyone know where I can get one?

I have a model 940 with rubber grips, 2 speedy loaders with pouches, about 40 rounds of original ammo, and 5 star clips for 9MM parbellium ammo. Along with a leather holster, and a Uncle Mikes belt and Holster.

If interested email me, and I will submit pictures, I have since bought a semi auto 9mm and no longer need this.. Only about 10 rounds been fired thru this, mostly for my CCP permit. [email protected]

500 is a deal in the real world. i wish i could find a nice one for that! as with everything, i am sure a few get carried to a dealer, lowballed, and end up selling for peanuts; but not very many.

Prices have really dropped on the 940's and most J frames. No wonder with 442's and 642's selling for $325 brand new from Buds. These guns sold for upwards of $800 a couple years back, and now struggle to bring mid 6's. Most on GB sell for low 6's.
