Adding 2 cents to the ongoing consumer reports of primer prices; I chanced to attend a "smallish" gun show in Central Texas this weekend.
One table, out of perhaps 30 tables total, had primers for sale - and only small pistol. He wanted $70 per thousand for GINEX brand, which as far as I'm concerned, are fine. I brought 2000 home as it's the best price I'd seen in years. To me it makes sense to pick them up when you see "best" prices I've seen in quite a while.
Also got a mixed box of .357 diameter swagged 158 gr SWC and 148 gr WC for $20. I sorted them and there's about an equal number of both for a total of over 400.
And a vintage Lee Loader for .410 bore shotshells in complete and immaculate condition. All I'll need for my relatively low volume 410 gunning.
