Dear Smith and Wesson Forum i just got back from a gunshow and i bought this pocket knife, and im looking for some information about it. it has a blade one side and a spike of some sort on the back of the knife the only markings are on the blade and they are Scrade walden and on the back of the blade is the number 735 and the words stainless steel. it also has brown plastic grips, if anybody could help me to figure out what kind of knife this is i would appreciate it very much. sincerely and respectfully mg357 a proud member of the Smith and Wesson Forum.

MG: Sounds like you have a Schrade Mariner's Knife. Probably similar to this one: Schrade Knives Red Pick Bone Mariner Knife 735RPB

Schrade makes decent knives, the marlin spike is probably of limited normal utility but makes a fun conversation piece.

what he said.:) For all the non-sailors out there, the marlin spike is used for splicing lines (rope to you landlubbers) and prying knots loose.
