Wow...gun show here in my area today and it was a mad house. Wanted to go but the line was literally over a football field long. So I came back an hour later and there is still a line. Nuts. I don't need a holster, mags, or ammo that bad. Incredible.

Interesting, the local news was there. Can't wait to see and here the spin on this...

The old rule at our gunshows in Louisville was get there really early, like 7:00 AM and take a nap in the parking lot. Then go inside well before they allow the public inside and stand in line for another hour. The alternative was to get there late or maybe even opening. Park 2 miles away at the fairgrounds and hike for another hour before getting inside. The only easy approach is to get a table and go inside early.

Thats great,I'm helping some friends with there tables next weekend at the nations gun show. Its the first time I'd rather not go After the election was bad enough but now its really getting nuts. Folks with zero and I do mean ZERO knowlage looking for anything with a big
magazine or ar's its a little bothersome. You actualy get asked "I have never owned or fired a gun before what should I buy?"It makes the old "what do I need to purchase this gun?" no longer a question that makes you shudder.Don't take me wrong folks its just you don't learn to drive by buying a car if you know what I mean and I am glad they have come over to the good guys side. But this panic stuff is for the birds.

Same experience in South Florida last weekend. Saw the line to buy tickets and did not even park.

The Oaks show?

It's normally too crowded for me anyway , but I figured it would be insane this weekend. I did my usual Sat of hitting a few local gun shops and they were also madhouses. Pretty much sold out of everything. Shelves were picked clean.

Oh yeah , PICS was down (or very , very slow) so no instant checks.

KC MO gunshow was packed to the gills with folks according to my buddy, the ARs were priced 2X what they were last week and not one was left by 10 AM. Read that the newies were out in force talking about the ammunition, magazines (yep, they called 'em clips) and assault rifles (AR and Bushmaster) sales that day.

Just think....at some point there will be no guns at a gun show..all sold! You'll only be able to stock up on jerky, junk beads and cheap knives. Wow cann't wait for that.

Panic buying and pricing ripoffs are no good. If things don't change dramatically with the guns laws, there will be some good deals out there in July/August.

Merry Christmas!
