GUNS IN SCHOOL - *Win a Rifle! * We have a WINNER!

27 tickets from our goal! My students are excited! The drawing is 15 April so hurry if you'd like a chance to win the Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Rifle in .280 Remington!

Received donations today from Ky Cowboy and Bekeart! Thank you both, AGAIN! I've completed the ticket stubs for you two myself. God bless you for making a difference in the life of a child!

The drawing will take place in 13 days. Anyone still wishing to help support our youth, and possibly win a great rifle, will need to mail your donation soon. Thanks to everyone!

Im going to TRY to remember to get another out. Just have a lot of appointments this month. If I can? this will be for my sister Cathy.

Only a few days left to donate, be entered into the drawing, and get everything in the mail. If entering, please hurry. I'd love to have a winner from our forum!

GOAL MADE! The kids are ecstatic! Now we've set another goal - we only need to get donations for 4 more tickets to be able to purchase 2 Precision rifles! Only 88 away from being able to purchase the 3 Precision rifles we need for next season! That's certainly doable! That also means we'll be able to deposit $1500 into our Endowment trust fund which will then be matched 1:1 from the MidwayUSA Foundation for a total deposit of $3000! Thanks to all of you who have made a dream become a reality!

Lonejacklarry, your donation today put us over the top! Thanks!

- Goal made!
- $3000 going into Endowment Trust Fund!
- Enough donations to purchase 2 Precision Air Rifles!
- Now only 79 tickets from being able to purchase the 3 Precision rifles we need!
- God is good!

This is the last Bump for this thread. There are only 7 days until we find a winner for this great rifle and I'm afraid the mail time would be very close to arriving on time. Thanks to so many of you, I consider this event a success. We've made our goal and are now only about 52 tickets away from being able to purchase the three new Precision rifles we need. I never in the beginning thought we would be so close. We have something scheduled at the local Sportman's Warehouse on Saturday and am confident we'll get even closer. Again, I thank everyone from Handejector on down who've helped my kids with this. May the good Lord bless each of you. You've touched these kids in ways you can't believe.

Received a donation from ejeli! Thank you!

Will complete the drawing in two days, Wednesday. I'll post the results that night. Hope to have good news for one of my S&W Forum friends!

The winner is TONY CAMPBELL of Chickamauga, GA! Tony is not a S&W Forum member, but was excited to receive a call from me today.

I want to again thank Handejector for allowing me to post this on his forum. I also want to thank those who donated to our Riflery team, many who went way beyond. Finally, I want to thank those who may not have been able to support us financially, but offered encouragement and prayers. All of you helped this event turn into something more successful than we could have imagined.

We were able to have $3000 deposited into our Endowment Trust fund, thanks to the MidwayUSA Foundation doubling our contribution. We're able to receive 5% of our balance yearly, forever! That's an extra $150 a year!

We also have enough to purchase 3 new Precision Air Rifles, which is exactly the number we needed and will allow us to be competitive next season.

We also have just about enough extra for an Orion Scoring System that will automatically score our practices and competitions in a fraction of the usual time and then upload them so our shooters can review them and learn from them.

All of you truly have made a difference in the lives and futures for many young people. We are blessed. Thank you. I am very humbled.

Carl, I'm glad all went well for the kids. I find it so interesting that so many people from around the country got in, I'm three states away myself. It just goes to show that the great American Sprit is still alive and well ! Maybe we can all get together and do it again sometime !
