Numerous gun rights organizations are talking about the SCOTUS actions to Grant review, Vacate the lower court ruling, and Remand the case to the lower court for reconsideration in light of the new rule coming out of the Bruen case.

I am not an attorney. But it seems these actions maybe as impactful as the ruling against New York.

Hoping the legal beagles on the forum can shed some more light.

This is exactly WHY the the ruling, and the opinion, are such big deals.

Requiring the lower courts to review, but NOT use the 2 step method to decide, is very likely to cause a number of bans to fall.

I'm in Washington, and our ban goes into effect in just over 4 hours. The lawsuit has already been filed. I hope things progress very quickly.

I just ordered what I thought I would need for the next few decades, and some for firearms I am likely to acquire, so it won't affect me much. Magazines are consumables. They wear out, and get damaged beyond repair. Not sure how many view them the way I do.

I did appeals for over 20 years - I was very happy when the US SCt GVRd the NM SCt's opinion in which I'd lost. If I may: This today was the big court telling the little courts, "You did it wrong in these four cases. Read what we just wrote and do it over, the right way this time." Good stuff!
