Hand held Priming tool

I have the regular RCBS hand prime. I usually prime on the press now that I am using a lee Classic Turret. If I ever go back to hand priming I will order the new square tray that the universal model comes with. The round tray is the only serious problem with the regular model. I used a universal for about five minutes and couldn't stand it. I didn't like the wedge it in and yank it out feeling of placing the cartridge. The disassembly of the regular one is a pain but works nice and smooth while using it. I bought an extra set of shell holders from Lee just for it. I actually like the Lee shell holders better than the RCBS version but it may be more of a price issue. Once I start loading rifle brass I may start using the RCBS hand prime again.

I've been using a Lee hand primer since they first came out and i read the review in the American Rifleman. Since I like to do my reloading in large batches , I like to size everything one night , retumble , then sit in front of the TV and prime everything another , then load on another night. I put a piece of soft vinyl tubing over the lever on mine for a bit of comfort.
