Hard Chromed Shield!

The second holster is a custom made carbon fiber kydex IWB from Multiholsters.com.

I love that Kydex holster. Very minimal, and I'm sure a very secure hold. 14-16 weeks turnaround (according to their website) is quite a wait, but it looks like it's worth it.

Yep, I got it to fill the role as a minimalist holster. Easy on and easy off. It fits the gun like a second skin yet it's built like a tank at the same time. And yes, the adjustable retention is very positive yet easy to draw/re-holster. Multiholsters sounds like a generic name, but they seriously make some of the nicest custom kydex gear around. I saw a few Shield owners' Multiholsters on here and decided to give them a try. My expectations were far exceeded and it was indeed well worth the wait.

They are constantly evolving/improving their holster lines. For anybody who doesn't want to wait, they have their Elite Quick Ship Holsters for only $60. They ship in 1-2 weeks.

well my new m&p 9mm shield no thumb safety came in no ghost circles on the slide. the date it left s&w was 7/1/2014 140802-150303.jpg :)

Shield

Very nice. I have two 9mm Shields One blk w/XS BD sights, Apex sear, PRP rubber grips

Second my BBQ pistol- After seeing a gentleman's tan frame on here, I sent my frame to CC and had it OD green, sent the slide to CCR, first for shinny blk-did not know about CC, or thought about HC . Then sent the slide to James for TFO sights and a APEX sear.

NacsMXer, can we get an update of how this sight combo has done for you at the range? really like this, and could see it being a real winner.

I just found this thread. Your shield looks awesome. I'm thinking about doing the same. Just curious after a year and a half how the hard chrome is holding up?

That looks great, I saw the 10-8 sight setup in another post and really like it, but the ameriglo front looks like a huge improvement.

Looks nice. I had a bi tone sig 1911 ultra compact. That coating does make the Shield look a little more expensive. That being said I don't really care what mine looks like the all black is fine and few scratches don't bother me. I love the sights though. That is my biggest disappointment on a $400 gun. I prefer my $300 Taurus millennium pro PT111 Heinie Straight 8's better. But I like the ones you have a lot. Think that will be my only upgrade on this since I do like to take it out to a range and shoot it.
