Has anyone figured out why the M&P 10mm 2.0 has so many problems? Mine still pukes loaded rounds out the ejection port straight out of the magazine.

I have been trying to get my 10mm M&P to behave now for a couple of years. I have tried different recoil spring rates, magazine springs and have installed the Apex extractor. Failures have decreased, but I still can't trust the gun to fire a full magazine without a failure to feed (round jammed into the barrel hood, mostly) or a loaded round just being shot out of the ejection port unfired. I am using full 10mm Auto loads, a 200gr bullet at 1200fps... because if I wanted a .40 S&W level load, I would have just bought one. It has been very frustrating. Any thoughts?

I had a 1066 that fired a round and while cycling, a round would jump from the magazine and land on the ground.
I don’t know what recoil spring weight comes with the gun, but a 18 or 20 pound recoil spring should solve that issue.
This only happened when I shot hot factory loads running about the same fps - 180 gr bullets.
What was happening is the slide came back with too much force and slammed the frame causing the issue.
You may even have to go a little higher on spring weight.
I also tried a stainless steel after market guide rod and found the spring was binding on the rod. Went back to factory rod.
If it was my gun, I would send it back to S&W customer service as mentioned in above post.

I own two of them now.
Have yet to shoot the 2nd.
But I went and ordered a heavier spring for the first one.
I usually run 180 handloads that chrono at 1325
Don't recall any problems other than it flipped brass into the next county.

I've had an M&P 4" 10mm for about 3 years and love it! Very accurate and ergonomic with a great trigger and 100% reliable. With those big funky sights I shoot it great and it has become my favorite handgun out of the 20 or so that I own.

When I use mine the first round always jams, after i unjam it, it then shoots every other round good. It has happened to me 3 times I went and shot. I dont know why

Gee could it perhaps be your ammo?? Sounds like reloads??

Even stock, my M&P 10mm 4.6" purchased in March of 2022 fired everything including Double Tap 180 grain JHP.
The only thing it jammed on was some Double Tap 200 grain hard cast rounds I've had for awhile.
In measuring them, I found they averaged a little under the Minimum length spec.
The Double Taps jammed like in the picture I took of my pistol.

My 10mm M&P 2.0 PC has been G2G, about 1000 rounds through it, uncleaned just lubed.

EDIT doesn't work.

I have learned over the years that some magazines for what ever brand of firearm will be hard to load the last round in say a 15 round magazine. I will download one round in a 15 round magazine making it a 14 rounder. The feed lips on some magazines that are stressed by adding the full magazine last round may be detrimental to positive feeding. Some firearms may also be a little bit harder to rack the slide to load the first round in the chamber out of a full magazine due to the slide rubbing on the top of the first cartridge.

I suppose I am one of the fortunate folks regarding this pistol. I am just now trying Buffalo Bore 21C and it has performed without issue. The target was shot several days ago at ten yards and the chronograph data was collected just a few minutes ago this morning. Magtech, Federal and CCI have performed flawlessly all along.
