Has S&W corrected the Shield sight dot issue?

Why doesn't S&W start offering night sights on their guns from the factory like other manufacturers so those that choose can avoid this problem without having to buy sights later and go through the hassle of having them installed?

NS's are the number 1 bottleneck for pistol production. So they try and stay away from them.

On top of this, NS's add cost and since everyone likes something different, very few people would like what they used.

Then people could get regular sights and have them replaced if they don't like what S&W is offering.

Just wish they made the sights more user freindly. Customer service told me they install them using a hydraulic press, I believe it.
