Have any of you used this bellyband??

What are you looking to carry?

That looks to me like the placement of the gun would be too high for my liking. The less shirt / clothing you need to get past to reach your gun, the better.

I'm carrying a M&P 9c.
I haven't found anything so far that will conceal it.

Honestly, the only semi auto I have ever concealed what I would consider perfectly would be a PPK. Even compact M&Ps and Glocks aren't totally unnoticeable on me unless I wear IWB low at 1 - 2 o'clock. Even then their noticeable (to me) I don't wear many loose shirts, so I get a lot of printing with larger guns.

This is of course not including colder weather when I can wear a shoulder holster under a jacket.

I bought one at the NRA convention when it was in Pittsburgh. I do not use it the gun is too hard to get to. I will sell it cheap!

Hi:
I have used a Galco "Belly Band" and have liked it.
I worn mine just above my waist belt "Off Duty".
On duty I wore it over my "Vest" just below my shirt pockets.
I carried a S&W 2" J frame or a Glock M27. I used the 'Belly Band" for a BUG. I also carried the "BUG" on my right side, gun butt forward for a "Cross Draw" for my left hand (weak hand) in the event that my right hand (strong hand) was disabled.

I am currently carrying my main weapon "Cross Draw" on my left side in a Fobus Paddle Holster with the paddle over my pant belt instead of the paddle inside my waist band. I am liking this setup more and more.

Jimmy, I like your set-up better than the belly-band...

I am still trying something that will actually conceal a weapon on my body..
Thanks

I have used the belly band and had it squirt my 642 out and on the floor when I bent over. Bad show. I am a fat male. You don't describe your build though I presume you are a womal. Sadly, a woman's body structure fashion dictates make it difficult to hide a very large weapon on the body. Try a single stack auto such as a M39 or an Officer size 1911 or a J frame IWB appendix carry.

I am very short, and curvy.. I'm looking for a carry weapon that I can also shoot IDPA..

I have used my smartcarry for my M&P 40c starting on the 2nd summer with it. And have no complaints. as long as my shorts are just a little loose it works well.

The Cell Pal and the Smartcarry look like great solutions but I can't for the life of me figure how they'd work for me.

I need to tightly buckle my belt to keep my pants from drooping or falling down. It's very uncomfortable to not have a snug belt.

I just don't see how these work when you'd have to loosen your belt to draw the weapon.

Hi:
As a Lady, suggestions from the Lady Forum Members would be more helpful to you than suggestions from us guys.
My Wife carrys a Model 642 with Barami Grips clipped IWB at 2 O'clock.
A small Auto (Kel-Tec .32/.380) might be considered.
Attempting to convince the Female Officers in My squad to carry a BUG On Duty and a weapon Off Duty has been unsuccessful.

Bellyband and holster T-shirts

I had that belly band years ago. It is okay if you wear loose clothing. I have also tried the holster t-shirts. The 5-11 one can become uncomfortable due to the stitching inside. The one from Masters of Concealment is more comfortable but got to get used to the snugness. These both just require a size larger shirt for medium and small frame pistols. Stuck my glock 19 in it and worked pretty good. Something to check out.
