Only have a group photo which includes a couple of "Brand X" revolvers.
I always love to see pre-war M&Ps. The 3-inch and especially that 2 1/2-inch Model 10 are eye catching. I think the 2-inch Model 15 is the world's classiest snubbie.
This particular gun was part of a shipment of 125 Model 19-3s that were shipped to the Snohomish County Washington, Sheriffs' Office in 1976. There were 25 guns with the 2-1/2" barrel, for the Detectives, Department Heads etc., with the remaining 100 having the 6" barrel, for the Road Deputies. I helped with the unpacking of these guns in 1976 and made this one Welcome to my Collection by again Unpacking it in 2006 to bring it "Home Again" as it had been in my Gun Shop in '76 for some kind of minor repair work.
Here's a piece of the Factory Letter from Roy Jinks.
