Have You Found Your Perfect Handgun?

I posted my Shorty Forty awhile back but now I have a new candidate for the perfect carry gun:

S&W Model 547 9mm K frame 3" barrel

The gun is reassuring in heft, and points the most naturally of any of my many handguns. The balance seems perfect with the sight coming up into alignment naturally.

Statistically most gun fights last 3 rounds or less and I figure with the sixgun I can fire two sustained bursts of three, or three double taps more accurately and faster with the revolver.

I have a Kydex ISWB holster that I wear Appendix style. The thinner Kydex takes less space and prints less than some leather. Besides for all day wear in hot weather Kydel not absorbing or attracting water or sweat is a plus, especially with a carbon steel blued gun.

After that it's NY reload to my back-up gun, usually a 3rd Gen S&W of some sort depending on dress and environment.

I know it's kinda vanilla as far as handguns go but for me it is my Glock 19. It's an early 2012 mfg Gen 3 that I installed a 3.5-lb Ghost connector in which has made pull extremely crisp, TruGlo night sights and a Hogue sleeve (yeah yeah lots of ppl don't go for them but fits my hand perfectly). I have over 10k rounds thru it and am pretty proficient with it. Lately it rides in a Foxx IWB holster that I picked up a few months back.

My everyday CCW is a Ruger LCR 357 next is S&W 642 pro series 38. But my favorite hand gun is a S&W pre model 27 with 3.5 inch barrel produced in 1955 love the 5 screw. Sure wish it could be my everyday CCW but it is nice just showing it to my friends or anyone that appreciates a nice revolver.

You asked "Have You Found Your Perfect Handgun? " then listed 3 .. and going through the comments many include 3 also including myself .. so guess the question should have been asked in plural as "Hand Guns"

I think the best reason is that because of dress most who have been carrying tend to have a gun for the dress as much as dress for the gun !!

Take me for an example I have a full size Sig P229 .. a S&W Compact .. and a sub- compact Beretta PX-4 all three worn according to what/where .. Where I will be going and what I will be doing and what I am wearing ..

Short answer is my Shield9. Now for my long answer (which I'm known for):

When I'm in HOT weather attire, the LCP2 disappears in my pocket or even AIWB - but it lacks perfection IMHO in caliber and drawing from the holster.

The closest thing I have to perfection for CCW is my Shield9. FOR ME - it's the perfect solution. 7+1 9mm with an 8rd spare isn't bad at all. But where it really shines is when I draw from the holster I can get a good grip and present it on target quickly.

My Glock43 was close to perfection once it was in my hand, but I just didn't like the way I fumbled the draw due to it's shape/size/whatever. The Shield just feels like a gun to me and FOR ME, it shoots like a gun is supposed to. The 43 is on GunBroker and I've purchased a second Shield to take advantage of the rebate. And I'm going to add a CTC Green laser AND XS Big Dot sights.

The best way for me to describe MY experience is to say that if you took a Glock43 and put it in a blender with a Glock26, the Shield would pop out. No, it won't make sense to a lot of people and you can argue that the description is nonsensical, but it's my subjective opinion on MY experience.
