My wife and I each got a text this afternoon stating that our SNAP card had been frozen and to call and 804-xxx number to discuss it. OMG! I didn't even know we had a SNAP card! We would have had to open the message to get the whole number so we couldn't block it. BOLO!

Some gal keeps calling me about a payday loan I didn't repay and unless I send her a gift card for the full amount she will send the Sheriff out to arrest me. I haven't had a payday for 15 years.

Did you take out a loan for a candy bar?
I know you need a co-signer to buy a large
Can of coffee but a candy bar can be bought
on time , 4 easy payments.

Ask her out for a date...Tell her you'll need to verify her VISA card first to make sure she can pay the bill at Landry's......Ben

Got another text yesterday from them. I will block the number but they'll just use another one. Just wanted to let the membership know to be aware of another new scam coming out.

Got a call today that I didn't answer.
They were nice enough to leave a voicemail.
'Sorry you did not reveal yourself to be shuman.'
I am just as shuman as anybody, *******!

I got the email:

Hi it's Pierce with the Financial Assistance Department. We tried reaching you at your home and did not hear back... I'm not sure if you've spoken to an assigned agent yet, but I do see that you're pre-approved for our Hardship Program, so what I'm going to do is keep this in a pending status. And If you have about five minutes today give me a call so we can go over the details. You can reach me at: 8‎55‎‎.455.51‎77, Thank You, Pierce Ardeni

Years ago when I first moved here I kept getting phone calls from a woman asking about somebody I never heard of. From the message and tone of voice it sounded like this guy owed somebody big money. The caller must have had a wrong or recycled phone number because whoever she was looking for had no connection to me. I never returned the calls because I figured that if I said i wasn't that guy they would just assume I was lying. I outwaited whoever was calling and finally the calls stopped.

Candy Bar?

Could she be referring to the sweet and salted nut roll known as A Payday?👍😳😳

I had a bunch of calls telling me I owed money to a "Big Guy" and they would be sending another big guy...As usual...I ignored those calls... That's how I met Vinnie...from Philly! BIG GUY! Luckily... I told him how to find the guy who sold me the place. Heard he ummmm musta left the area....or something!!

I keep getting hounded by my City for an 3 mile $2810 ambulance ride.

No ambulance is NOT free service like FIRE or POLICE. But $2810 for 3 miles??? C'mon Nell, GIMME A BREAK.

I must have been added to someone's list. I got a text yesterday from the Navy Federal Credit Union saying my account had been frozen and to contact them at this site. I don't have an account with the Navy Federal Credit Union.
