I believe you know what part of NC I live in. Try to imagine life here when only the criminals and gangs have firearms.
Our Sheriff personally calls each new CHP (Concealed Handgun Permit) holder to thank and congratulate them. When he called about my renewal, he wrapped up saying, "I consider you part of my extended deterrent force".
Who better understands the situation "on the street", our Governor or Sheriff?

Cooper didn't get my vote when he was elected to office.

Governor Cooper is a committed Biden esque Leftist and besides that he does not support the Constitution. He is the worst kind of political opportunist.
Is NC lieutenant governor elected separately? He's about as Pro Gun as it gets. In NY the governor appoints his lieutenant.

Elected independently, yes. He's absolutely amazing. Rumors were he'd run for Senate but has stated he wants to remain in NC where there's so much to be done. It would turn the state around if we elected him Governor.
I saw him speak at NRA Forum on tv last week. I looked at my wife and said I want that guy as my Vice President. Man is he passionate about the 2A

I talked with Mark at the NRA Show in Houston, he is thinking about running for Governor. You won't find a better person for the job, super great personality and is as strong of 2nd Amendment guy as I have met. Everyone on here that is a NC resident should send him an email of encouragement to get him to run. You won't be disappointed if he wins!
