Greetings! Just found the forum and decided to join! Back around 1989, I was the owner of a beautiful Model 29 6in. barrel nickel plated revolver. Unfortunately it was sold to help fund a move out of state. Just recently acquired a new model 629 6in. barrel revolver. Similar but many differences in the last 30 years. Looking forward to keeping this one and enjoying it out on the range! Cheers!

If I recall, Winchester changed hands 74 times during the civil war. Thats all I know about Winchester. Welcome

My mom and dad bought property out from Gainesboro, off of Route 522, back in the '70s. They built a house and lived there for about 25 years.
We started going to the Winchester area back in 1969, shooting with the North-South Skirmish Association. I still try and get up thataway about twice a year. It's one of my favorite places, filled with precious memories, and the resting place of my folks.

Greetings from Northwest Florida. Transplanted here from Stephens City in 2014. Sometimes I miss the valley, but the weather is much nicer here. Absent the occasional hurricane, that is. You will learn a lot here. I know I do all the time.
