Hello everyone, first post in this forum!

I'm on the market for my very first rifle and I'm very interested on the M&P 15-22 at the moment. Currently looking for scopes to match the rifle with. I just ran into the Leapers AccuShot 3-12X44 Compact which seems to be a nice match for it being its not too long of a scope and won't necessarily break the bank (any feedback on this scope and/or any other options for scopes are welcomed!).

My only concern at the moment of the 15/22 rifle would be the length of the 25 round magazine … How do you all usually bench rest this rifle without this magazine getting in the way?

I rest my rifle on a BiPod. I've always been of the mind set that resting any rifle on the magazine is asking for feeding issues.

The range I go to in Las Vegas provides a bench rest with different positions. I had plenty of clearance with my 25 rd. magazine.
