Just joined a few days ago. I recently got 3 S&W revolvers. I have a model 19, .357. and I have 2 model 10's, one is a victory model made probably around 1944/45 and the seller tells me it was sent to Australia near the end of WW II but was put in storage with hundreds of others like it and they stayed there for 50 years of so, and the storage box/container finally rotted and all the pistols fell out on the ware house floor. I have another 10-1 that is nickle with mother of pearl grips. I think it was made around 1910 or so. I have not been to the range with them yet, but I will go soon. Any help on better dating them would be appreciated. I've been a member of the P-38 forum for several years. Some really nice and helpful guys over there. Take care.
