Hello Everyone... Just joined the site recently and love all the posts. I've found so much quality information and really appreciate reading the thoughts of and gaining insight from actual Smith & Wesson owners. I'm a long time deer and small game hunter but recently decided to carry a firearm with me at all times. I've shot most of the big names at the local range but never got as excited about a handgun as I did about a Slug Gun or 30-06....until now.

I have a Ruger and a Glock in my gun cabinet and just never liked the feel so even though I've had the permit to carry, never carried them with me. I was at the range and shot the Sigma SW40VE and I think I found the gun for me. I was very surprised by how well it felt in my palm and how well it grouped for me. I love the stiff trigger as I like to take my time and concentrate on each shot. Even letting it pop off, the gun performs.

I look forward to meeting other SW owners and hearing your thoughts on your guns of choice. Great Forum and really Great Participants too!~

THANK YOU Everyone for the really warm welcome!!!~

Was just up at Cabela's in Hamburg, PA to make that purchase and Harrisburg's Insta-Check System is down so had to do the sad turnaround without my new SW40VE Sigma! The great thing is that I found a Sweet deal on a new Remington 870, so it may have to wait till next friday, but looks like next weekend will be a real fun one at the range!~
