MY COLLAPSABLE STOCK ON THE M&P22LR I JUST BOUGHT IS FIXED. WHAT IS THE TRICK TO RELEASE IT SO IT BECOMES ADJUSTABLE?

Sorry was typing when you posted the question. There should be a metal lever near the bottom that will pull up and then it should slide

THE LEVER OPERATES, BUT THE STOCK DOESNT MOVE FOR SOME REASON IT CAME FIXED FROM FACTORY MAYBE BECAUSE OF SOME LAW IN CT NOT SURE BUT THERES GOTTA BE A TRICK ,IM SURE ITS SOMETHING SIMPLE

Welcome to the forum, I am from down state in the SW corner.

Anyhow the stock on your rifle is locked in that position. This is because in CT we have an assault weapons ban. Any semi automatic gun with a pistol grip, removable magazine cant have an adjustable stock. Make it move and you are a felon, I kid you not. Thank Mr Blumenthal It get complicated on what you can have and what you cannot.
