Hello all! Just recently purchased a M&P 40 5" CORE Ported to my collection. This will be my first S&W and I am loving it so far. I'm going to be getting a barrel so I can convert it back and forth from 9mm to 40 and waiting on Vortex to release their new Viper Red Dot this year so I can slap one of them on it.

So I will be trolling the boards looking for knowledge and new people to talk to, looking forward to chatting with you all!

Hello I am from Bristol Tn living in SW Florida. I'm a geezer but I am curious to hear how you like your new M&P 40 5" ported. Just bought one from Buds and will get it next week probably. Never had or fired an M&P period, but looking forward to it.
