Hello from El Paso

Greetings from the FNG. I've been visiting this forum for a few weeks and after checking all my local gun shops and having no luck I was finally able to find a couple of 15-22's at Academy Sports. They had a black one w/ the standard barrel and an OD green one w/ the flash hider.... so I went green for $460. Looking forward to lots of fun times with the "junior AR ".
Going to test out a 30 dollar Ebay holographic, red /green, four rectile sight while I'm saving up for better optics. I'm going to field strip, clean and lube it and hopefully shoot it this weekend.

Congrats and welcome from the mitten state... And a big win on getting the green 15-22... but I am really stumped as to why I cant find one here in Michigan...yours is only the 2nd one I have seen...

The other is posted on GB for sale and it appears that they are all in Texas so far.!!!
