You have a great J frame 38 special that will do 96% of what the full powered K frames will do.

+P loads work as a have to carry SD load but it will like "Standard" loads
a lot better for target and practice loads, with the light frame.

I have posted many loads in my M49, with factory and reloads if you reload and want to see what is possible for your shooting enjoynent.

A month ago I was in a gun shop in Pesaro and was amazed to see lots of primers on the shelf, I did not realize reloading was possible in Italy, there were more primers than I have seen in years!
