I'm a red spot on a blue dot in a red state taking on a purplish hue.
Previously an H&K man, though I still own a P30, and having owned and shot Glock and Sig Sauer primarily in the past, I have recently discovered Smith & Wesson autos. Specifically, it started with a Bodyguard .380 of all things. I wanted another pocket auto or something I could carry while jogging or dressing really light.
A 9mm Shield followed almost two weeks later.
I then found myself buying a 9mm M&P Pro - the 4.25" version - and it may be the best shooting full size I've owned and I've owned a P226, Glock 17, USP, and a few 1911s over the years.
I'm impressed with all three of these autos and can see myself owning, shooting, and carrying them for many years. M&P magazines are fetching crazy prices right now. I'm just going to have to be happy with the two that came with the Pro.
I hope to enhance my understanding and appreciation of S&W handguns hanging around here and contribute a little something along the way.
