Have been a "lurk and learn" guy here for awhile. Love the depth of knowledge and passion for history to be found on this site! I plan to be a bit more active on the boards so thought I'd say hello to you all out there.
Been a gun owner since 1977 and the last several years have found me focused on 1911's and training with the AR/AK platforms. I shoot what I own and am not a collector, but sure do like to behold a nice older piece too!
I've always had a crush on deep blued and walnut S&W's. My one and only right now, (beside the 442 in my pocket), is a lovely Mod 17-3 that is in ex+ shape and shoots sweet. This year I hope to scratch a long standing itch for an older Mod 41 and something bigger in a 4" N frame.
