Hello from Northwest Indiana

Bought M&P .40 yesterday, joined the forum today. The M&P is my first handgun. I bought a Ruger 10/22 LR last week, and that was my first gun purchase. I have shot guns before, but never owned one.
I shot a couple boxes of Federal target ammo when I got the 40, but don't remember the type. They didn't seem to be very accurate, but it could have been me.
Anyone have any suggestions on the best ammo to use (target/SD) in the M&P 40?

Hello and Welcome from Arizona !! Cant say in the 40, but in my M&P 9 Ive had good luck with the Speer/CCI 9mm Blazer Practice ammo mainly use the 124gr, but again havent shot a 40 in sometime but ya may want to give them a try
