Hello from the ShowMe State

Since I retired about 2 yrs ago I've found the time to get back into a hobby I really love, shooting and collecting pistols. I started shooting at 10 yrs old with my father's WWII Remenington-Rand 1911. After spending 2 yrs in the Army, getting married, raising a family and going to college/night classes I was away from the sport for about 30 years. With more time & money, I am trying to make up for that lost time. I own a good number of weapons including 1911s in .45 & 9MM, various rifles, carbines & shotguns however recently I've been concentrating on 3rd Gen pistols. I look forward to spending some time here on the forum.
