Hello from the sunny Southeast. I'm happy to have found this forum. I'm a retired guy, new here but not really new to S&W having experience with a few S&W revolvers and .22 and 3rd gen autos. I hope to keep learning, always. One of the reasons I joined instead of just lurking in read-only mode is to use the forum search functionality available only to members. I hope to use it to find out if there has been a definitive resolution to the "380 EZ last round stovepipe" problem that haunts some users' guns or magazines.

Welcome to the Smith & Wesson Forum from Central Florida!

I have an M&P380 SHIELD EZ that shipped on September 19, 2018, and has been fired approximately 800 rounds of mixed factory and reloaded ammunition. About 200 rounds of the total were fired by small children between 8 and 13 years of age. The gun has functioned flawlessly from the first round fired to the last so far. Three different magazines have shared the ride and again, no problems whatsoever.

I know that doesn't answer your question, but I personally think the gun is great!
