HELP a Forum Member- gunlovingirl

I'm Proud

I've made a small, humble donation. Not the point. The point is how proud I am of all our forum brothers/sisters making small, some not so small donations to a person most of us will never meet. Another point to ponder is the integrity of our beloved owner, Lee Jarrett. I don't make it a habit to send money to strangers, but Mr. Jarrett is my cybernet hero and seems above reproach. Well done and carry-on.

... better late than never

Mr. J,

I'm on the road at the moment but will be back home in one week and the check goes out as soon as I get home. Sorry to hear about GLG and I hope things are improving for her.

Chris

What a great way to start a day!

I opened this thread and read the tally so far and I am moved by the generosity of the folks on this forum.
Over the years I have come to respect the denizens here as decent, honest and patriotic folks and I just plain like associating with you.

Lee's initiative to help out a member was in my mind just par for the course here on this forum, BUT, the number and scope of the donations has really impressed me.

I am happy to have been able to contribute a small amount to help Misty out in her time of need.

After seeing the response here, I am proud to say that I am a member of this group, and I am allowed to walk where eagles fly.

I am walking a little lighter in my moccasins today because I am a part of this great group of folks.

Thank you one and all.

I talked to Lee awhile ago. He updated me on the amount of the donations. I am overwhelmed by everyone's concern and generosity. And there are no words that could ever express my appreciation to Lee and the forum family. There has been more than enough given to cover the expenses I've already had, and probably any future expenses that may or may not come up after I have the inspection. That will get done in the next few days, and I will let everyone know how it turns out. The only words I can possibly say to all of you are thank you and may God bless each and every one of you! If anyone really wants to donate who hasn't already, I would ask that you make your donation to either Lee, for the continued success of this site, or to the Salvation Army, who has been so giving to the neighborhood here. Thank you again. For everything.

Misty, I am glad we ,your many forum friends, have been able to help. I say this with all respect, you are a great lady and a class act in all the very best ways. All my very best regards, Joe Kent.

One more time to say THANKS to you all.
I have updated the tally today- nearly 4 grand!

Many people included notes.
Many gave that could not really afford to.
A fellow stationed in Afghanistan donated.

Again- we have CUT OFF donations because Misty is now covered.
Well done, folks.

Once again (I can't say this enough) Thank you to everyone! This forum and all it's members, are truly amazing. The cards, donations, prayers and well wishes got me through a very rough time. I honestly don't know how I could have got through it without all of you. I know God would have seen me through it, but all of you helped to make everything quicker and much less stressful! Most of the repairs have been made, and things are pretty much back to normal. At least for me. Please continue to keep those who lost everything, in your prayers. And also remember, when you see those bell ringers for the Salvation Army this holiday season, help fill their buckets. I've seen first hand just how much they do for people. Thanks!
