Ok now I I did it! I have a 4566. While cleaning it tonight, I had the grips off and was scrubbing things down as I've done countless times in the past. However, something happened that hasn't happened before.

There is a sheet metal piece on the left side of the pistol. It has a pin as part of it that goes through the frame that holds the ejector, hammer and a couple other pieces in place.

During my cleaning, the part shifted to the left, allowing the pin to let loose of a couple of the pieces located to the right of the hammer. Luckily, I noticed it when I did, so I did not lose them or the small spring that resides under them.

I tried to get it back together, but I failed. In my attempts, I pulled the pin all the way out and now I have the hammer assembly, the two springs from the top of the frame, the ejector and the other two pieces seperate from the frame. I can't get it back together.

Does anyone know of an online resource showing how to reassemble this thing? I've given it the college try, but at this point I'm just frustrated.

I'm going to put it down for the night and take another look in the morning. In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions other than, "Don't do it again!" I'd appreciate the help.
