Help for a 13 year old

[Rastoff]

Without going into exhaustive detail, the daughter and son of a coworker were in a horrific car accident. The son has some broken bones, including his skull, but will be OK in time. The daughter is in an induced coma. She is bleeding in her head and has a blood clot in her neck. They can't deal with the blood clot because of the brain issue.

The girl is in a hospital that is ~80 miles from home. As we all know, hospital expenses can mount. Also, there are sundry other unexpected, not covered, expenses. Below is a link to help the family, if you want you can donate a couple dollars there.

More than anything else, the family covets your prayers.

Here's an update:

The young boy is recovering nicely, but still has a way to go. I believe he's home now.

The girl, Hailey, is still day to day. Hailey had some surgery done to install some stints (SP?) to help relieve pressure in her head and help blood flow. If these work as expected, they will start her on a regimen of aspirin to help prevent blood clots.

Sorry for not updating this earlier.

Hailey is making good progress. She is responsive and able to talk for a short time. Her vision is coming back. Her left side is acting like she had a stroke (but didn't), but is getting better with work.

She is expected to make a good recovery.
