I didn't read this until a few minutes ago. You, Melissa and your Wife all have my prayers, I wish I could do more!

It is a shame the Perp. was arrested, He should have been killed. It is funny how people like that nearly always give up peacefully when confronted by Law Enforcement that they know will kill them if they resist! Just an old LEOs opinion!

Thanks everyone for your prayers. The incident happened in Lockport, Ill. I probably should have included that information from the start. It was a deliberate act. It appears to be what I suppose they call a "hate crime." Melissa has adopted two childred of another race, which apparently upset her neighbor.

If you feel the urge I ask you to pray for him also.
