Help! Hammer re-assembly

Tonight I was taking apart my 29-8 for the first time. As I went to re-install the hammer, a small piece came off. This piece is a pivot the mainspring attaches to. On the older revolvers, the mainspring connected to the a point/stud on the lower portion of the hammer which was integral with the hammer. On the new MIM hammer, this piece is seperate, and pivots. ( Forgive me, as I don't know the correct terms ).

Does anyone know how this smaller piece fits back onto the hammer? A picture of the sideplate removed showing the hammer from a newer model N frame would be worth a thousand words.

Oh, and yes, I feel like an idiot.
