I FINALLY found what I've been looking for! It's a 2.5" model 19-3 and the serial number is 3k48063. What can you tell me about it?
Thank you

I can tell you, that you now own one of the finest all-around revolvers ever produced. I'm lucky enough to have two model 19's These are the last revolvers I would ever part with; this includes my model 27's and my pre-war 38/44 heavy duty.

enjoy that guy, take it out and shoot it as intended.

Yes it's blued and I've put about 400 rounds through it already...had a function issue that required those little "tabs" on the ejector to be smoothed out. I'll be carrying it on duty after I get leather made, I carry a 1947 Colt 38 Super and a 2013 Springfield 1911 TRP from the custom shop....once I get the ivory stocks on I'm sure it will garner plenty of stares!

I personally think ivory looks great on a blued snubby. This is one of my favorite handguns. Enjoy yours!

Jack that is an awesome looking piece! I spoke with Paul Persinger in El Paso this morning and began planning for what I want done. Not going to be cheap for the real ivory but his work is great.
Who did yours?

Oh and am headed to get leather designed and ordered next week. Can't wait to carry it.

That would sure look nice next to my 19-4 nickel snub...

Well an update...a local man near Houston makes custom Grips for bows made me a set of stocks out of desert ironwood burl. Love em!
